Contract awarded Fort Myers-based Stevens Construction Inc. has been awarded the contract for the construction of a 30,000-plus-square-foot, 16-bed, hospice house by Good Shepherd Hospice in Sebring. The inpatient and residential care facility will resemble Old Florida-style architecture with metal standing seam roofing, front porches and native Florida landscaping. Each home-like private suite will include garden-view lanais, with all suites surrounding a centralized nursing station.
