There was a good condominium bill coming out of the 2009 legislative session that would have cleaned up some ambiguous insurance language contained in Chapter 718, Florida Statutes (the Condominium Act).

Chiropractic offices completed Fort Myers-based Stevens Construction Inc. completed construction of the 7,310-square-foot Barnes Family Chiropractic office building at 4302 Del Prado Blvd. The new facility features a contemporary exterior with a metal-clad canopy that resembles the curvature of the spine. The 3,591-square-foot office of Dr. William Barnes includes seven therapy rooms, three adjusting rooms, a massage room and an X-ray room. The remaining space is available for lease. Toll Brothers Ashley Bourn has been named sales manager of the month for July for the company’s Florida West Division. Bourn joined Toll Brothers in June 2006 as a sales associate at Firano at Naples and was promoted to sales manager in July 2008. She is currently a sales manager at Belle Lago in Estero. Island Club at Tortuga Construction will begin next month on Island Club at Tortuga, a Taylor Morrison community in Fort Myers that offers residents a wide range of fitness and leisure activities. Island Club is a gated community of garden homes that will feature a resort-style pool and spa, fitness center, clubhouse, tennis court, basketball court and dog park. Tortuga is a 46.9-acre community with 10 acres of lakes that opened last October.
