Ask Oprah to join us for the ‘The March to Make a Difference’ on March 27, 2010 at Mercato, located in naples, Florida! We had a great Kick-Off on Make a Difference Day (Oct 24, 2009). This Kick-Off event will be held annually on the fourth Saturday of every October, in conjunction with the ideals set forth by Paul Newman to create a national day of serving others. It was a great Family Fun Day with: Bounce House, McGruff Crime Dog, Music by P.A.Trick, Networking booths, TV Productions crew: SWFLCharityTV.org, and more. We would like to thank all for participating in our Kick-Off and especially for taking part in our YOU-TUBE video request to invite Oprah Winfrey to our upcoming event on March 27, 2010! (The video courtesy of: www.SWFLCharityTV.org will be airing soon). As, iWannaHelp.net was inspired by ‘Oprah’s Big Give’, we would like to showcase how our SWFL community has recognized the need to unite in the spirit of helping, while changing lives and inspiring others to do the same. Three exclusive ‘Helping Hand Community Awards’ will be given to the TOP Business, Non-Profit, and School that write the most letters in correlation with Operation: Yellow Letter!!!!

Inspired by Oprah’s Big Give, iWannaHelp.net, is an internet-based 501c3 Non-Profit Networking Site. Within 1 year, iWannaHelp.net based in Naples, Florida, is making a difference in the SWFL community, with over 60 non-profit members, and 1500 contacts. Proclamations from the City of Naples, The City of Marco Island, and a letter from Florida Senator are in effect for the month of October as ‘iWannaHelp.net Month’, in preparation for ‘The March to Make a Difference’ Kick-off on October 24, 2009 in collaboration with Paul Newman’s, ‘Make a Difference Day’. Launched August 2008, www.iWannaHelp.net encompasses the social media networking method of communication through its interactive website for the good of the SWFL community. This NonProfit Networking Site is designed to streamline philanthropic efforts and provide an internet-based home for: non-profits, businesses, and the general public. All members of iWannaHelp.net are also able to upload a complimentary profile, in which they share scholarship information, volunteer opportunities, donations, RSVP to local events, etc. Basically, “Bridge the gap between people in need and those that wannahelp”.
