On June 5th, 2009 we hosted ‘Hooked on Helping’ a Fishing Tournament with Celebrity Fisherman, Roland Martin at the Bellasera Hotel for local teacher, Lisa Wilk, and raised a bit over $5000.00.

In preparation for ‘The March to Make a Difference’, scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2009 at Mercato…we need your help!  The Mission of Operation: Yellow Letter is to write letters to Oprah Winfrey asking her to be a ‘Guest Speaker’ at this upcoming event.  As iWannaHelp.net was inspired by ‘Oprah’s Big Give’, we would like to showcase how our SWFL community has recognized the need to unite in the spirit of helping, while changing lives and inspiring others to do the same. Should you prefer to help us in this mission, we ask that you write a letter to help us reach this goal!
